West Nile Mourns Entertainment Figure Afayo Rogers

Afayo Rogers, a prominent supporter and influential figure in the West Nile entertainment scene, has passed away following injuries sustained in a tragic road accident.

The incident occurred on March 22 at around 7:56 PM near Akaba Bridge in Nebbi District. Rogers was traveling back to Arua from Packwach alongside members associated with Odramucaku after attending a match when the accident happened.

He was first rushed to Nebbi General Hospital for emergency care. Due to the severity of his condition, he was later transferred to Arua Regional Referral Hospital and eventually referred to Mulago National Referral Hospital in Kampala for specialized treatment.

Despite efforts by medical personnel, Afayo Rogers sadly passed away on April 1.

Rogers was widely known for his dedication and support towards the West Nile entertainment industry. His presence and contribution helped promote local talent and strengthen the bond between fans and artists.

His death is a great loss to the creative community in West Nile, where he played a key role in supporting entertainment activities.

Tributes continue to pour in from friends, fans, and the wider entertainment fraternity, remembering him as a passionate and committed individual.
