Court Orders Okello to Begin Defence in Ggaba Daycare Killings Case
Content:
The High Court in Kampala has ruled that Christopher Okello Onyum, the prime suspect in the Ggaba daycare killings, has a case to answer.
This means the prosecution has presented sufficient evidence, and the case has now moved to the defence stage. Okello is expected to present his side before the court as proceedings continue.
During the hearing, Okello requested more time to prepare his defence and asked for access to his phones to support his case. However, the judge declined the request, stating that he had already been given adequate time during the trial. He was instead granted a short break before continuing.
The case now enters a critical phase, with many Ugandans closely following the developments as the court moves toward a final decision.
